Hey there!
How have you guys been? Did you get the chance to read my first blog? If not, go give it a read and tell me how you like it, and then hit subscribe!
From runway fashion to posh boutique, the popular notion regarding big fat Indian weddings is that - the more you spend the better you get. I disagree! For me weddings should really be about you and your personal style rather than just blindly following everyone.
The next two blogs would be about what I wore to my cousin's wedding! Since Indian weddings are all about a few days full of fun and festive, here is a PART 1 of my look!
Mehendi - one of the most important pre-wedding functions and my personal favorite.
The outfit I wore was something I designed myself. It was a Golden- green brocade kurta, the fabric with which I fell in love the first time that I saw it in a crowded shop in Lajpat Nagar. I paired this pretty looking kurta with plain green bottoms and dupatta with a delicate golden border to go with it - again which I bought from LN market.
Since it was a day function, i decided to go natural with the makeup. Adding a pop of contrast was my reddish golden chic earrings.
