Hi guyssss!

How is the rainy weather treating you all?

It is such a big relief from the scorching Delhi heat!! Such times call for a vacation to a nearby hill station, and that's exactly what I did! I decided to go on a small getaway to Nainital with my friends over the weekend and oh my god it was such a refreshing trip, exactly what I needed to feel rejuvenated!

It took us approximately 8 hours to drive up to Nainital. Such journeys call for comfy clothes, so I chose this Olive Green T-Shirt Dress and paired them with my Adidas Original Shoes. I had my Da-Milano bag to carry all my essentials.

We were staying at the Country INN Resort in Bhimtal, which is a 30 min drive from Nainital.

Before checking in at our resort we stopped at the BHIMTAL Lake and saw the sunset. The view of the lake surrounded by mountains, the Sunset, string of ducks swimming in perfect alignment is just beyond words. There are many fun activities at the lake including a must try - Zorbing.

Once done from the Bhimtal lake, we checked in at our resort, took rest, freshened up and headed out to the MALL ROAD and NAINITAL LAKE.

I changed into my Zara leggings a black H&M top and this camouflage jacket since it got a bit chilly outside and it was perfect for such weather.

Since it was already dark the 30 mins drive from our resort to mall road was hell scary!

The Nainital Mall road is a typical shopping market with all the handcrafted showpieces and wooden watches and lots and lots of street food.

We had are dinner at Sher-e-Punjab which is no doubt one of the best there since they had a waiting for almost an hour.

The stroll alongside the Nainital lake at night, with your friends and loved ones, laughing and talking out anything and everything is the kind of experience everybody longs for.

Next day before heading back to Delhi, we visited the SATTAL LAKE, where we did 'Adventure boating'. It was a fun and such a unique experience of being in the middle of the lake surrounded by mountains. You try to control the boat so that it goes in a particular direction but fail so badly that your boat turns in a totally different direction, just like when sometimes life doesn't go in the direction you want it to go and takes a totally different path but you still have to keep rowing!

For this I chose super comfy denim shorts from Forever 21, a basic white top from H&M and a long shrug from Primark London!

After the boating session we had our lunch at a tiny but fancy Cafe Machan and headed home.

The trip was sweet and warm.. and after this one I believe I will take more such short trips just to cherish and value life and friends more <3

Hope you guys liked the pictures. Let me know your thoughts in the section below. :*
